![]() Sometimes coaches plan an action, and decided to take it back, this is acceptable on two grounds firstly, they must not have activated the next player secondly, they must not have rolled any dice. If a coach rolls too few dice, then they simply roll the additional dice required to match the action they are carrying out. So far example, a coach rolls two block dice and gets a push, and a skull it then transpires that only one die should have been rolled, the push is granted the value 1-3, and the skull 4-6, with a D6 roll coaches can thus determine which result stands. If a coach should roll more dice than the action permits, then the dice should not be re-rolled, instead a simple dice off should be carried out to determine which stays, and which is discarded. Dice cups are also acceptable, and again, escaping dice must be re-rolled dice cups can be rolled onto the pitch / table / tray as above (following applicable rules), or the slam method onto a mat can be used. Alternatively a dice tray can be used, any dice leaving the tray must be re-rolled.ĭice towers are acceptable, though all rolls must remain within the tower drop area, any escaped dice must be re-rolled. Rolls by hand should be made on the pitch, or table any rolls that end up on the floor must be re-rolled. The location of a roll will depend on the method of rolling. Dice that are stacked on top of each other (usually due to a dice cup being used) are also classed as cocked dice. As such coaches may request that a standard D16 is used as opposed to a GW D16, however to do so the coach making the request must provide the alternative dice.Īny dice that do not 100% lay flat on a surface are classed as cocked dice, and must immediately be re-rolled. While the GW D16 look very nice, they aren’t exactly balanced (all low numbers on one side, and all high on the other side) like standard D16 (which are normally all odd on one side and even on the other for the same design type). To try and combat this, the following rules will apply to all WYBBL games: Sometimes in Blood Bowl unique situations happen with dice that could cause debate over the results rolled.
